eStatement Best Practices

    • Grid should always be updated to reflect the most current feedback. 
  • For consistency, all eStatement items should be written in sentence form with periods included. 
  • Unlike all other Amtrak emails, account information section in header for eStatements does not include a last name. 
  • Before submitting PDF to client, always FPO placeholder content to avoid confusion. 
  • QA-specific 
    • An all-offers QA test should broadly follow QA checklist steps. 
    • Individual offers QA test should omit link testing. 
    • Non-wrapper links, or body links, will change on each email. These may include links in the preheader, hero image, text, CTA(s), seasonal banners, or the ‘Terms and conditions apply.’ hyperlink in footer.
